Youth Protection Training On-line Procedures

It’s so Simple to do! Follow these steps to complete Youth Protection Training online. This takes 20 minutes to complete.

Go to: http://www.hoac-bsa.org/Programs/YouthProtection.aspx

  • Click on: Youth Protection Training (on-line) link at the bottom of the page
  • Click on the Youth Protection Training Icon mid page
  • Sign In (returning visitors) or set-up a new account
  • From the menu on the left, click E-Learning
  • From the General tab, scroll down to Youth Protection Training and click Take Course

When you complete the course, print a certificate of completion to submit with a rechartering form at the table prior to Monday Troop Meetings or mail it to Tom King.

Remember… All Adults & Scouts need to be rechartered by December 13th.

ADULT – ONLINE TRAINING COURSES. . .
The link to the training website that adults are to use for their online training courses.  You will need to log in with your Email address and password, or set one up if you haven’t done so yet.

BSA Online Learning Center – These courses can help adult leaders deliver quality scouting experience to youth.  You can find Youth Protection Training, Safety Afloat and Safe Swim Defense.

University of Scouting Heart of America Council – University of Scouting is a Day of Learning, Fellowship and Fun.

Boy Scout Trail – Rank Advancement Video Downloads Downloading the really big BSA rank advancement videos so they can be viewed offline instead of stuttering along over a slow Internet connection.

Supplemental Training Modules – Supplemental training modules are designed to provide orientation beyond the basic training offered in New Leader Essentials and leader-specific training. Each module is a unit of training that can be used as an outline for a group, for personal coaching, or for self-study. Most of the outlines should require about an hour to complete.
