Brendan’s Upcoming Eagle Scout Project!

Hello Troop 122!
Do you have a taste for donuts or need service hours for rank advancement?
If you answered yes to one or both of these questions there is a great opportunity coming up on the Saturday of November 7th (9:15 A.M.) and again on the following Saturday, November 14th! (11:15 A.M.)
I am conducting a winter apparel drive for neighborhoods around Olathe, Kansas for my eagle scout project this fall season to help those in need in my home community. We will be collecting and donating winter clothes to Turnstyles Olathe near Olathe South High School. This project will benefit the community and keep every citizen in Olathe warm.
*Scouts will help drop off flyers and collect donations, but a total of five parent volunteers will be needed in order to transport them in between houses and neighborhoods.
If you would like to help, there are three ways that you can impact your community:
1.) Sign up for dates to volunteer your time and eat donuts!
2.) Donate your winter clothing to those in need!
Acceptable Items: Winter Coats, Jackets, Snow Pants, Boots, Hats, and Gloves.
3.) Recommend a local business or perish that would be willing to help out!
Sign up sheets will be at Troop 122 meetings on Monday Nights! I will also be there to field any questions that you may have.
Please contact me by email at blangmack@gmail.com or at an upcoming meeting if you are interested in this project.
Thank you and I hope to see you soon!
