Bashaw Farm Recap from Troop Historian Duncan C.
We started out at the church packing our stuff into the cars we were going to ride in. Then we left for camp at the Robinson Farm. Mr. Robinson and his family is nice enough to let us camp there every year. This is my second year going and can’t wait to go back. We were there in about 2 hours. Then we set every thing up including dining flies, tents and cook boxes and then went to sleep. The next day we cooked breakfast with the dutch oven. It had Sausage, eggs, milk and cheese and it was good. Then we started the activities which were either going to the Museum or Farm. I chose farm and I chose right. We rode little jeeps and got to go on the tractor. After that we went back to camp and had lunch which was a sandwich and some chips. Then we started doing the paintballs and other stuff. I loved the paintballs and I even knocked the cap off. Then we just hung out at the camp fire. At dinner we had some barbecue and it was awesome! Then we did some skits and they were funny. My favorite was the monk skit. Then we went to sleep. The next morning we packed and had some REALLY good breakfast. Like Sausage, Bacon And other good food. Then we put our things in our cars and left to go home.
