Kyle will be working his Eagle Project on Friday, July 15 from 4-8pm and Saturday, July 16 from 8am-5pm. There may be a chance that may have to work a little later on Saturday to ensure the stage is ready for Sunday services. We will be doing some demolition, renovation, and addition to the Music Stage at the Colonial Presbyterian Church Youth House (also known as ‘The Q’). Because this will be such a major undertaking to do in just two days, I really could use all of the help I can get. We will be working inside, but be prepared for whatever weather may happen as some aspects of the project will take place outside. Please bring water or water bottle, work gloves, safety glasses (if you own a pair), wear closed toed shoes or boots, and be prepared to get dirty. If you have any Portable Cordless Power Drills for driving in wood screws or any other such hand tools, and can bring them to either of the workdays it would be highly appreciated. Food will be provided both days.
I especially need any Adult with experience in Construction or with most power tools to help cut lumber at the worksite.
Please email me if you can make it.
The Q is located at the intersection of 135th St. and Rosehill Rd. It is the freestanding building just off the side of the intersection.
